The First Five Minutes of the Big Ten Network

This is the first five minutes (4:40, to be exact) of the launch of the Big Ten Network tonight. Viewers of DirecTV and about 75 cable companies in the Midwest saw Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith as the first faces on the network. I converted the avi file with an unregistered version of an MPEG converter, thus the “unregistered” tag in the top left corner, but if you can ignore that, you can see what most of the Midwest could not when BTN finally made it to air tonight at 8 ET.

The Big Ten Network website relaunched at 8 p.m. so it has a different look. I’ll have more on the coverage of BTN on Friday.
