Barry Horn of the Dallas Morning News says with fantasy football so popular, why don’t we have a fantasy draft for broadcasters so each team can have play-by-play and analysis? Um, no.

Anthony Schoettle of the Indianapolis Business Journal says Purdue and Indiana University stand to lose a lot if the Big Ten Network doesn’t work. R. Thomas Umstead in Multichannel News talks about the BTN/Comcast dispute. In the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, Doug Lesmerises gives readers a primer about BTN and what they can expect and not expect as it launches on Thursday.

Jeffrey Flanagan of the Kansas City Star talks about changes in Royals broadcasts for next year when FSN Midwest takes over for RSTN.

New York Mets fans will get a treat today when Fox reunites Hall of Famer Ralph Kiner with Tim McCarver in the 3rd inning of the Dodgers-Mets game. Both worked together for 16 seasons in the TV booth.
