Late Monday Update

We’re past 4 p.m. on the East Coast and there’s still no announcement for the times of the League Division Series. I know that someone from Major League Baseball has visited this site today. My request? Let us know the times! And when you say announcement will be made at 3 p.m., make sure you make the announcement at 3 p.m.!

Ok, many of you are also visiting to find out if TBS HD has been added in your area. I can say Time Warner Cable has added it in San Antonio. Still no word if Comcast has added the channel in Detroit or Chicago. If it is, I’ll let you know here. The E-Gear website is happy TBS is going HD.

From the Press-Register in Alabama, ESPN has announced it has picked up the Auburn-Arkansas game for October 13.

Jessica Brown and Mike Curnutte of the Cincinnati Enquirer says the Queen’s City is putting its best foot forward for ESPN’s Monday Night Football game tonight.

The Big Ten Network has picked up another cable agreement, this one in Allentown, PA. Service Electric Cable TV is the company.

John Smyntek of the Detroit Free Press reports that CBS Radio has merged two city radio stations into one sports station. Sports Radio 1270 WXYT is now simulcast on WKRK-FM.

Fans of Fox Sports Radio will now be able listen online at FoxSports.com.

That’s it for now. If and when MLB releases the times for all four Division Series, I’ll let you know. I’m beginning to think TBS will make the announcement just before the Padres-Rockies Wild Card playoff game tonight.
