‘Big Ten Football Report’ to Discuss Tressel Resignation Tonight
CHICAGO – A special edition of Big Ten Football Report will debut tonight at 7 PM ET to discuss Jim Tressel’s resignation as head coach of the Ohio State football program. Dave Revsine, Rick Pizzo, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and Chris Martin will be in studio, and will be joined from Columbus by Glen Mason and reporter Dionne Miller.
Then, the network will show Ohio State’s 2010 Rose Bowl victory against Oregon, followed by a re-air of Big Ten Football Report.
OSU announced Monday that it accepted Tressel’s resignation and named co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell, a Columbus native and former Buckeye, as interim head coach. Ohio State said it will launch a search for a permanent successor after the 2011 season.
