‘Big Ten Football Report’ to Reveal Network’s Primetime Football Schedule, Will Include Interviews with Hall of Famers Carr, George

CHICAGO – A special edition of the Big Ten Football Report at 8 PM ET on Thursday will reveal the Big Ten Network’s 2011 primetime football schedule and also feature interviews with Michigan’s Lloyd Carr and Ohio State’s Eddie George following their inclusion in the College Football Hall of Fame.

Carr and George are two of the four individuals with Big Ten ties named earlier this week to the 2011 College Football Hall of Fame class, along with Michigan State’s Gene Washington and Minnesota’s Sandy Stephens. Nebraska’s Will Shields was also among those selected.

Dave Revsine will host the program and will be joined by Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith. The three will discuss the network’s primetime football matchups and their significance as plans for the 2011 football season are underway.

The show will be preceded at 6 PM ET by the 2006 thriller between No. 1 Ohio State vs. No. 2 Michigan. Immediately after Big Ten Football Report, at 8:30 PM ET, the network will air Michigan’s 2008 Capital One Bowl victory against Florida, Carr’s final game as head coach of the Wolverines.

That’s all.
