BREAKING NEWS: Bill Raftery Leaves ESPN; Joins Fox Sports 1 for Big East Games

This coming from The Big Lead’s Jason McIntyre: long-time ESPN college basketball analyst Bill Raftery is leaving to join Fox Sports 1. Raftery has been associated with ESPN especially on the Big East and Big Monday games. He’s been teamed with Len Berman, Mike Gorman, Gary Thorne, Mike Tirico and most recently Sean McDonough and Jay Bilas.

According to The Big Lead, Raftery will be teamed with a familiar partner, Gus Johnson. Both worked college basketball regular season games on CBS.

This move does not affect Raftery’s CBS contract. He’ll continue to work the NCAA Tournament and selected regular season games for the Tiffany Network.
