Earlier today, I provided videos from the 2008 Olympics.
Here is the 2:30 version of the open that will be used for the London Olympics by the BBC. Once again, it’s animation showing athletes in various UK vistas. The music is called “First Steps” performed by the group Elbow accompanied by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and the NovaVox gospel choir. I like this.
Finally, this is an NBC-produced promo featuring scenes from 2008 and London locales. The song is called “This Dream” by island featuring Brent Kutzle.
This makes me ready for the Olympics starting on Friday. And throughout the 16 Days of Glory, I’ll provide various critiques of the coverage.
