Just as 2013 ends, conference play in the new American Athletic Conference and the venerable Big Ten get underway. The networks of ESPN will be all over the start of conference play in both conferences on Tuesday, New Year’s Eve.
In addition, the networks will have seven of the Top 25 ranked teams will be in action. And we have the schedule below.
Men’s College Hoops: New Year’s Eve Lineup on ESPN2 and ESPNU Starts Big Ten and American Conferences League Schedule
Before ringing in the New Year, the ESPN2 and ESPNU men’s basketball schedule on Tuesday, Dec. 31, will feature the conference season opener for both the Big Ten and the American Athletic Conferences. The lineup will have seven of the top 25 nationally-ranked teams, including undefeated No. 3 Ohio State at Purdue at 1 p.m. on ESPN2.
- Also on ESPN2: Indiana at Illinois at 3 p.m., No. 6 Louisville at UCF at 5 p.m., No. 17 Memphis at USF at 7 p.m. and No. 15 UConn at Houston at 9 p.m.
- ESPNU’s New Year’s Eve lineup: No. 9 Duke at Elon at 1 p.m., Eastern Michigan at No. 2 Syracuse at 3 p.m. and UNC Wilmington at No. 19 North Carolina at 5 p.m.
- New Year’s Day action on ESPNU features an American Athletic Conference doubleheader: SMU at Cincinnati at 6 p.m. and Temple at Rutgers at 8 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 30 on ESPNU: Robert Morris at No. 7 Oklahoma State at 7 p.m.
