CBS/Turner Unveil Their NCAA Tournament Announcing Teams

I’m late on this. I’m doing my best to catch up over the next couple of days.

Earlier this week, CBS Sports and Turner Sports made public their announcing teams for the 2014 NCAA Tournament. There are some changes from last year.

  • As previously announced, Greg Anthony joins the “A” team with Jim Nantz and Steve Kerr. They’ll call the NCAA Final Four™ and the NCAA Championship Game.
  • Clark Kellogg who was on the “A” team with Nantz and Kerr returns to the studio with Greg Gumbel, Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith.

  • Andrew Catalon joins the NCAA Tournament this year as he takes Tim Brando’s place. He’ll be teamed with Mike Gminski and Otis Livingston.
  • On the sidelines, CBS/Turner taps Kristine Leahy from KCBS in Los Angeles. She has come a long way from hosting WEEI’s “The Five”.

Assigned to the First Four™ games in Dayton will be Brian Anderson, Dan Bonner and Leahy on Tuesday, March 18 and Kevin Harlan, Len Elmore, Reggie Miller and Rachel Nichols on Wednesday, March 19.

The regional semifinals and final announcing teams are as follows:
