NBC will air the last Pro Bowl on broadcast television until 2022 at least. Starting in 2015, ESPN will get the Pro Bowl every year like it used to from 1989 until 2006. Since the 2007 game, the Pro Bowl has been on broadcast TV except for 2010 when CBS relinquished the rights to ESPN.
Anyway, suffice to say that NBC has this year’s Pro Bowl and won’t have it again for at least the next eight years.
Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth call the game. Michele Tafoya and Doug Flutie work the sidelines at Aloha Stadium.
It begins Super Bowl Week for NBC Sports Group as NBCSN will have the Dan Patrick Show, SportsDash with Yahoo! Sports, and Pro Football Talk all airing live from New York.
