I’ll start by saying TBS Hot Corner hosts Heather Catlin, Kelly Cross and even the Tool, Matt Dagostino should be given a show of their own. When they were wrapping up their online coverage last night, all three were sitting on the couch on the set and just talking. It was enjoyable. If TBS ever decided to give them their own daily online show, I would watch. If Kelly and Heather had primary roles and Matt sat on the desk giving updates like Natalie Morales on the Today show, I think that would work rather well. And we continue to get hits for Heather and Kelly especially after the Fashion Show. I think we have a hit here. So if the guys at Turner Sports are reading this, just know that TBS Hot Corner has become very popular online.
To your links. John Molori of Boston Sports Media Watch calls TBS’ coverage of the League Divisional Series disappointing and says there has to be a role for Red Sox TV announcer-in-exile, Sean McDonough. I agree on Sean, but I disagree on TBS. I liked their coverage.

The New York Daily News’ Bob Raissman says George Steinbrenner’s ill-timed comments about Joe Torre’s job status must be blamed for one of the reasons why the Yankees lost their series to Cleveland.
Richard Sandomir in today’s New York Times says TBS had an error-plagued Game 3 of the Yankees-Indians series. Sandomir adds that the ratings on TBS for the LDS are way up from last year when ESPN and Fox shared them.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer has reaction from Indians’ fans who feel TBS’ coverage was biased towards the Yankees.
