Time for some more links. As we get closer to baseball’s postseason, we’re getting closer to TBS’ extensive coverage of the playoffs. For the second straight year, TBS has tapped Bon Jovi to promote the League Division Series. I hope to have some more information about TBS’ coverage sometime tomorrow and when I do, I’ll pass it along.
For now, I can tell you TBS will pick up another Red Sox game for its Sunday coverage, this one will be against the Blue Jays at 1 p.m. and before that at 12:30 p.m., the network have a special edition of “MLB on Deck” hosted by Ernie Johnson with studio analysts Cal Ripken, Jr., Dennis Eckersley of NESN and Harold Reynolds of MLB.com and SNY. I wanted to give you that programming note for Sunday.
