This weekend, ESPN has another set of college football games starting on Thursday and running through Saturday. Also, we have news about College GameDay heading to Wisconsin. You know when you’ve said Wisconsin, you’ve said it all. Old slogan. Anyway, here’s the press release from ESPN.

ESPN College GameDay Heads to Wisconsin

ESPN’s Emmy-award winning College GameDay will travel to Madison, Wis., on Saturday, Oct. 1, in advance of No. 8 Nebraska at No. 7 Wisconsin on Saturday Night Football(8 p.m., ABC). The weekly show airs at 9-10 a.m. on ESPNU and 10 a.m.-noon on ESPN.

College Football: Three Matchups of Ranked Teams & New No. 1 LSU across ESPN Networks Oct. 1

ESPN’s college football schedule this week will be highlighted by three matchups between ranked teams and new No. 1 LSU in action Saturday, Oct. 1:

  • No. 8 Nebraska at No. 7 Wisconsin, Nebraska’s first game against a new Big Ten conference foe, at 8 p.m. on ABC
  • No. 13 Clemson at No. 11 Virginia Tech in an ACC showdown between undefeated squads at 6 p.m. on ESPN2 and ESPN3
  • No. 14 Texas A&M vs. No. 18 Arkansas in a neutral site matchup at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas,  at noon on ESPN, ESPN3 and ESPN Radio
  • New No. 1 LSU against Kentucky on ESPN3 and the SEC Network at noon

In addition, a three-game split-national telecast Saturday, Oct. 1, at 3:30 p.m. on ABC will include a matchup of unbeaten teams when No. 15 Baylor travels to Kansas State. The other two games – televised on ABC and ESPN2 – will include undefeated No. 21 Georgia Tech at NC State and Michigan State at Ohio State. All three games will be available on ESPN3.
