ESPN’s College Football Games For Week 8

The ESPN Family of Networks has games on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. That’s a lot of games. Check out the list of games plus where College GameDay is heading. After a foray into the West Coast last weekend, College GameDay returns to the Midwest visiting East Lansing, MI and the campus of Michigan State.

For the second straight week, the top announcing team of Brent Musburger, Kirk Herbstreit and Erin Andrews will be cable exclusive as they’ll call Wisconsin-Michigan State for ESPN. ABC will have regional coverage at 3:30 p.m. ET and again at 8 p.m.

And ESPN lists games going into next week. Games on Sunday? Tuesday? Wednesday? Get ready.

Two Matchups Between Ranked Teams & Six of Top Nine Teams across ESPN Networks

ESPN’s college football schedule for Saturday, Oct. 22 will be highlighted by two showdowns between undefeated top 25 teams and six of the top nine teams in the BCS Standings.

  • Unbeaten No. 6 Wisconsin at No. 16 Michigan State at 8 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN3
  • Undefeated No. 8 Stanford against No. 25 Washington at 8 p.m. on ABC and ESPN3

In addition to Wisconsin and Stanford, the schedule includes three more undefeated teams on Saturday, Oct. 22: No. 2 Alabama against Tennessee (7:15 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN3), No. 3 Oklahoma against Texas Tech (8 p.m. on ABC and ESPN3) and No. 7 Clemson against North Carolina (noon on ESPN and ESPN3). ESPN3 and the SEC Network will also offer one-loss No. 9 Arkansas at Mississippi at noon.

College GameDay Travels to East Lansing and Michigan State’s Campus

ESPN’s Emmy Award-winning College GameDay travels to East Lansing, Mich., on Saturday, Oct. 22, in advance of the Big Ten matchup of No. 6 Wisconsin at No. 16 Michigan State (8 p.m., ESPN/ESPN3). College GameDay will head to East Lansing for the fifth time overall, and for the first time since 2005. The weekly show airs at 9-10 a.m. on ESPNU and 10 a.m.-noon on ESPN.
