NBC Sports Network Signs Nine Year Deal with Atlantic 10 Conference

Wrapping up the A-10 Conference deals from yesterday, we have this press release from NBC Sports announcing that NBC Sports Network will begin carrying A-10 basketball games this season. For the 2012-13 season, NBCSN will air six games involving A-10 teams, but next season is where the network will increase its commitment to the conference.

For 2013-14, NBC Sports Network will have a total of 25 regular season men’s basketball games, three women’s basketball games and the quarterfinals of both basketball tournaments. So it means that the final three days of the A-10 Tournament for both the men’s and women’s tournaments will be on national television.

In addition, NBC Sports Network will be able to stream A-10 games it carries on the NBC Sports Live mobile and tablet apps. And some A-10 games will aired exclusively on Comcast SportsNet affiliates across the country.

Here’s the A-10/NBC Sports announcement.
