The Formula One season has been all about Lewis Hamilton and the strength of the Mercedes team. Another 1-2 for Mercedes at Bahrain. Defending champion Lewis Hamilton picked up his first race off the season, just holding off Bottas with a further six seconds back to Leclerc.

Mercedes continued their domination, picking up another 1-1. This included another victory for Hamilton as he finished 6.5 seconds clear of teammate Bottas.

Bottas picked up his second race of the season, just holding off Hamilton in Azerbaijan. Vettel then finished third for his second consecutive podium.

A third victory of the season for Hamilton, with teammate Bottas finishing second. Red Bull’s Verstappen picked up his second podium of the season finishing just under eight seconds behind Bottas.

Vettel finally ended the dominance of the Mercedes team in finishing second behind Lewis Hamilton, with Bottas back in third. He nearly also picked up the victory finishing just 2.6 seconds behind the winner.

Bottas failed to finish on the podium for the first time of the season as Hamilton picked up another victory. Both Ferrari drivers also made the podium with Vettel finishing second for the second consecutive race.
