Iron Bowl Draws Second Highest SEC on CBS Overnight Rating of the 2013 Season

Saturday’s Iron Bowl rivalry game between Alabama and Auburn drew very good numbers for the Columbia Broadcasting System. CBS saw an 8.6 overnight rating with an 18 share. That’s up a whopping 291% for last year’s Iron Bowl which resulted in a blowout and saw a low 2.2/5.

Saturday’s game is the second highest overnight rating of the season for the SEC on CBS package. Alabama at Texas A&M which was the network’s season premiere brought a 9.0/21 back in September.
