35th Annual Sports Emmy Award Winners

Here’s the listing of the 35th Annual Sports Emmy Awards. They were handed out in New York tonight to an appreciative audience at the Frederick P. Rose Hall at the Time Warner Center.

Overall, NBC led all networks with six Emmy Awards, Fox/HBO Sports/MLB Network won 5 and ESPN received four.

In an upset, Bob Costas won his 2oth career Emmy Award and again it was for Outstanding Studio Host.

There were four ties. The current MLB on Fox analyst team of Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci won for Outstanding Studio Analyst for their work on MLB Network. ESPN’s College GameDay and TNT’s Inside the NBA tied for Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly. There was a tie in the Outstanding New Approaches in Sports Programming. And one in Oustanding Studio Show in Spanish.
