Starting next week, CBS Sports Network will carry five shows previewing the NFL Draft.

CBS Sports Network Tackles Draft with Series of  Preview Shows

CBS Sports Network provides its most extensive Draft coverage with a series of six one-hour shows previewing the Draft from the professional and college perspectives. The shows, INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL: DRAFT SPECIAL, air beginning Monday, April 18 (9:00 PM, ET).  Included below is a schedule of air-dates.

Adam Zucker hosts and is joined by analysts Aaron Taylor, Randy Cross and Brian Jones, along with guest analyst former University of Michigan football head coach Rich Rodriguez and draft expert Russell Lande.

  • Monday, April 18 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET) – A preview of the first round of the Draft from two perspectives: How a prospect will help an NFL team; and how his loss hurts his former college team.
  • Tuesday, April 19 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET) – Focuses on top prospects who are not household names, such as Von Miller (Texas A&M), Robert Quinn (North Carolina) and Muhammad Wilkerson (Temple), and how their college teams will replace them.
  • Wednesday, April 20 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET) – Looks at the big-name college football stars who are not highly-regarded NFL prospects.
  • Monday, April 25 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET) – Where college football’s brightest stars such as Cam Newton (Auburn), Nick Fairley (Auburn), Patrick Peterson (LSU) and AJ Green (Georgia) will be selected in the Draft, their NFL potential and how the teams they left behind replace them.
  • Tuesday, April 26 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET) – Provides a look at some lower-round projected prospects who could make an immediate impact in the League.
  • Wednesday, April 27 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET) – Examines how the Draft will impact college football’s projected Top 10 teams for 2011, as well as which teams and conferences best supply NFL talent.
