truTV Averages 1.0 For NCAA Tournament Opening Night Doubleheader

The first half of the NCAA Tournament’s inaugural FIRST FOUR® did well for truTV, averaging a 1.0. The NCAA play-in game did a 0.8 on ESPN last year.

For the first game which featured UNC-Ashville against Arkansas-Little Rock, the game received a 0.9 rating while the nightcap between Clemson and an overmatched UAB received a 1.1 which means people found truTV in time for the games.

truTV’s exclusive live doubleheader coverage of the First Four of the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship on Tuesday, March 15 (6:30 PM ET – 12:30 AM ET) earned an average metered market household rating of 1.0. Game #1 featuring UNC Asheville vs. Arkansas-Little Rock (6:30 – 9:24 PM ET) delivered a .9 metered market household rating, with Game #2 featuring UAB @ Clemson (9:45 PM – 12:00 AM ET) averaging a 1.1 overnight metered market household rating.
