Saturday’s “Other” Buzzer Beater by Princeton’s Doug Davis

While we’re buzzing over Gus Johnson’s call of Isiah Thomas’ game winning shot, let us not forget the Ivy League playoff game between Harvard and Princeton which was a barnburner throughout the game. Doug Davis had the game winning shot as time expired to put Princeton in the NCAA Tournament. Unfortunately, this great game was relegated to ESPN3.com and was not available on television. I can’t believe that no TV network could find time to air Harvard-Princeton.

Marc Kestecher of ESPN Radio had the call for ESPN3.com and did a very good job with the buzzer beater.

What a great day for college basketball. Can’t wait for Sunday to see what else transpires.
