Coming up on Wednesday on the very last installment of 24/7 Penguins/Capitals: Road to the Winter Classic, this is what we’ll see.

24/7 PENGUINS/CAPITALS:  ROAD TO THE NHL WINTER CLASSIC

            Debut:  WEDNESDAY, JAN. 5 (10:00 p.m. ET/PT) with an immediate encore at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT
            Rating:  TVMA/L
            Preparations go into high gear as workers apply the finishing touches needed to turn a football stadium into an outdoor hockey rink. The Capitals arrive in Pittsburgh for their day on the ice against the Penguins on New Year’s Day at Heinz Field.
            All four episodes of 24/7 PENGUINS/CAPITALS:  ROAD TO THE NHL WINTER CLASSIC will be presented back-to-back Saturday, Jan. 8 at 1:30 p.m. on HBO2. The first three episodes are also available on HBO On Demand.
            The executive producers of 24/7 PENGUINS/CAPITALS:  ROAD TO THE NHL WINTER CLASSIC are Ross Greenburg and Rick Bernstein; senior producer, Dave Harmon; producers, Scott Boggins, Bentley Weiner and Thomas Odelfelt; Aaron Cohen is the writer; Liev Schreiber narrates. 

I’ll miss this edition of 24/7. Lots of fun to watch and let’s hope we get a second edition in advance of the 2012 Winter Classic.
