Fox Soccer Channel’s UEFA Champions League Coverage Continues

The Group Stage portion of the UEFA Champions League continues and so does Fox Soccer Channel’s coverage for Tuesday and Wednesday. Some good matchups are coming up. Let’s take a look at what is on tap this week.

INTRIGUING REMATCHES HIGHLIGHT NOVEMBER 2-3 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCHDAY 4 TELECASTS ON FOX FAMILY OF NETWORKS

LOS ANGELES (October 26, 2010) – The 2010/11 UEFA Champions League has reached Matchday 4 of its Group Stage, with a number of compelling rematches from recently-played contests airing Tuesday, Nov. 2 and Wednesday, Nov. 3 on Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Soccer Plus and FOX Sports Net (FSN).
Beginning at a special time of 3 p.m. ET each day, Matchday 4 features European powers AC Milan and Real Madrid CF squaring off for a second time in two weeks, plus the return leg of Tottenham Hotspur FC vs. reigning champion FC Internazionale Milano, winners of a rollercoaster 4-3 decision vs. the London side on Oct. 20.  A total of eight live exclusive match telecasts are airing in HD across the Fox Family of Networks, as well as partner DirecTV.
Matchday 4 kicks off Tuesday, Nov. 2 live on FSN as Turkish side Bursaspor hosts English giant Manchester United FC, which eeked out a 1-0 home win in their first meeting last month. Simultaneously Fox Soccer Channel features Tottenham Hotspur FC’s anticipated rematch with FC Internazionale Milano.  Another victory would secure Inter’s place in the Knockout Stage. Finally, Rangers FC takes on Valencia FC live on Fox Soccer Plus, with the winner gaining a massive leg-up in the fight for second place in Group C.
On Wednesday, Nov. 3, Fox Soccer Channel showcases AC Milan seeking redemption vs. Real Madrid CF – which cruised to a 2-0 win over the Italians on Oct. 19 – while live on Fox Soccer Plus, FC Spartak Moskva travels to London to collide with current Barclays Premier League leader Chelsea FC.
UEFA Champions League Pregame kicks off coverage of the world’s most prestigious club soccer competition on The Ultimate Soccer NetworksTM and FSN. Featuring a breakdown of the day’s upcoming action from host Eric Wynalda and in-depth analysis from Warren Barton and Christopher Sullivan, the live 30-minute studio program simulcasts on FSN, Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Soccer Plus on Tuesdays and airs on Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Soccer Plus during Wednesday matchdays.
