Baseball on Tap This Weekend

I’m going to post a couple of press releases before heading to the Red Sox-Orioles game tonight. Let’s do the baseball this weekend post.

I have what’s on Fox today. And with Joe Buck’s calling of the Milwaukee-St. Louis game, it makes seven out of nine games for him so far this season. In addition, Kevin Kennedy returns to the main Fox network after his pregame show was dropped before last season.

Millar Joins Buck for Brewers/Cardinals on FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week
DIVISION LEADERS FACE OFF IN BIG D – Week nine of the FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week leads off Saturday, June 5 at 4:00 PM ET with three playoff-caliber matchups. First-place teams collide in Texas as the rejuvenated Vladimir Guerrero and the Rangers host Evan Longoria and the Rays, who sport MLB’s best record. In New York, the Mets and Marlins look to stay within striking distance of the Braves and Phillies in the NL East as they face off at Citi Field. Also, Albert Pujols and the Cardinals take on Prince Fielder and the Brewers in St. Louis. MLB on FOX lead play-by-play announcer Joe Buck and new MLB on FOX analyst Kevin Millar call the action from Busch Stadium. This week, the pregame show originates live from Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, TX with host Chris Rose. Once game action begins, Rose joins the game crew including Dick Stockton and Kevin Kennedy as a field reporter.
