Tip Times and Announce Assignments for 2015 NCAA Tournament 3rd Round, Sunday, 03/22

Ok, we get the tip times for the Round of 32 action on Sunday, March 22 as CBS and Turner don’t want to wait until the Providence-Dayton game is over as the PR people want to sleep at a decent hour.

CBS has a tripleheader on Sunday starting at 12:10 p.m. ET with the tasty Virginia-Michigan State matchup in Charlotte. That’s followed by Duke-San Diego State at 2:40 p.m. Both games will be called by Jim Nantz, Bill Rafery, Grant Hill and Tracy Wolfson.

The third game of CBS’ tripleheader will be the Kansas-Wichita State game in Omaha, NE at 5:15 p.m. with Marv Albert, Len Elmore, Chris Webber and Lewis Johnson on the assignment.

Turner’s channels begin their coverage at 6:10 p.m. in Columbus with Oklahoma taking on the winner of Providence-Dayton on TNT. TBS returns at 7:10 p.m. from Seattle with Gonzaga vs. Iowa. truTV will take the second game from Omaha at approximately 7:45 p.m. with Wisconsin vs. Oregon.

CBS Sports and Turner Sports Announce Tip Times and Match-Ups for Third Round Games on Sunday, March 22

Turner Sports and CBS Sports’ exclusive coverage of the 2015 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship will offer a full slate of third round games on Sunday, March 22 (Noon-Midnight ET) available live in their entirety across four national television networks – TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV – and NCAA March Madness Live.

Following are the tip times for this weekend’s third round games with commentator teams. Tip times for the Sweet 16, beginning Thursday, March 26, will be announced on Sunday.

This year’s Final Four National Semifinals on Saturday, April 4, will be televised on TBS along with team-specific telecasts airing on TNT and truTV.  The National Championship Game on Monday, April 6, will air on CBS.
