We end our previews with NBC’s look at Sunday Night Football. This week, the SNF crew will be in Arlington, TX for the New Orleans Saints-Dallas Cowboys game. Both teams want to prove they’re not pretenders for the playoffs.
Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and Michele Tafoya will be the game crew.
Bob Costas will host Football Night in America live from Arlington with analyst Hines Ward who will say 3-5 words in his segments with the Holy Diminutive One. Josh Elliott will also be on hand live from the stadium for an interview segment.
From NBC Sports’ World Headquarters in Stamford, CT, Dan Patrick will do the day’s highlights with Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison. Insiders Peter King and Mike “Mr. Anti-Baseball” Florio will report on the latest information pertaining to the NFL.
In addition, mun2 will simulcast the game in Spanish.

mun2 to Televise Saints-Cowboys in SpanishStamford, Conn. – September 24, 2014 – Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints travel to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, to take on Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC. In addition, mun2 will present the Spanish-language telecast of Saints-Cowboys, its first-ever NFL game, to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
Last weekend, Romo and the Dallas Cowboys matched the largest comeback in team history, coming from 21 points behind to defeat the St. Louis Rams 34-31. Dallas’ win was highlighted by a 68-yard touchdown pass to Dez Bryant from Romo, who has a franchise-record 21 comeback victories in the fourth quarter or overtime. DeMarco Murray, who leads the league in rushing yards (385), ran for 100 yards in the win. The Saints come off their first win of the season, 20-9 over the Minnesota Vikings, after losing their first two games by a combined five points.
Calling Saints-Cowboys is seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his 29th season as the voice of the NFL’s premier primetime package; 15-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, who has won the Emmy for Outstanding Event Analyst in each of his five seasons in the Sunday Night Football booth; and two-time Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
NBC’s coverage of Sunday Night Football is led by Emmy Award-winning producer Fred Gaudelli and Emmy Award-winning director Drew Esocoff. Sunday Night Football has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Sports Series for a record six consecutive years.
Football Night in America, the most-watched studio show in sports, is hosted by 26-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Bank of America Stadium on Sunday. Costas will be joined on site by Collinsworth, Tafoya, two-time Super Bowl winner Hines Ward,and NBC Sports commentator Josh Elliott.
