With California Chrome winning the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course, we now have our first contender for horse racing’s Triple Crown since Big Brown in 2008. I’ll Have Another won both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness two years ago, but was scratched from the Belmont.
So California Chrome won today’s Preakness and Larry Collmus had the call on NBC.
The Belmont Stakes will be run on Saturday, June 7 on NBC.
