Here are the announcing assignments for the NHL on NBC for tonight and tomorrow. Three out of the four games scheduled are elimination games as Boston can win its series against Montreal at the Bell Centre tonight. Then in Pittsburgh tomorrow, it’s Game 7 of the Rangers-Penguins series and finally in the nightcap on Tuesday, Chicago can send Minnesota packing in Game 6 of their series.
Tonight, Kenny Albert and Pierre McGuire are in Montreal. John Forslund and Brian Engblom are in Anaheim for Game 5 of the Kings-Ducks series.
Then it’s Doc Emrick and McGuire in Pittsburgh and Dave Strader with Ed Olczyk in St. Paul.

The Bruins can advance to the Eastern Conference Finals with a win tonight against the Canadiens in Game 6 in Montreal at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Montreal held a 2-1 lead in the series, but Matt Fraser scored 1:19 into overtime of Game 4 to give Boston a 1-0 win, and the Bruins held serve at TD Garden in Game 5 with a 4-2 win on Saturday night to push the Canadiens to the brink of elimination. Kenny Albert (play-by-play) and Emmy Award-winning ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire will call the action from Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
KINGS-DUCKS – GAME 5 TONIGHT AT 10 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – SERIES TIED 2-2
The Kings and Ducks face off in a pivotal Game 5 tonight at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN, as both sides look to take control of the series. The road team has won all four games thus far in the series, as the Kings won Games 1 and 2 in Anaheim to take a 2-0 lead back to Los Angeles, only to see the Ducks win Games 3 and 4 at Staples Center to even the series. 20-year-old rookie goaltender John Gibson took center stage for the Ducks on Saturday night, earning a 2-0 shutout victory in his first career Stanley Cup Playoff start. John Forslund (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (analyst) will have the call tonight from Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
RANGERS-PENGUINS – GAME 7, TUESDAY AT 7 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – SERIES TIED 3-3
The Rangers and Penguins battle for their playoff lives in a winner-take-all finale tomorrow night in a decisive Game 7 in Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The Penguins held a commanding 3-1 series lead heading into Game 5 in Pittsburgh on Friday night, but the Rangers responded with decisive victories in Games 5 and 6. Derick Brassard led New York with two goals and an assist in the Rangers’ 5-1 win in Game 5, and Martin St. Louis led the Blueshirts to a 3-1 win last night, as he scored an emotional first goal of the game on Mother’s Day, just three days after the sudden passing of his mother. New York looks for its second straight Game 7 victory this postseason, following a 2-1 win against the Flyers in Game 7 of their first-round series. Two-time Emmy Award-winner Mike “Doc” Emrick (play-by-play) and McGuire (analyst) will have the call from CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.
BLACKHAWKS-WILD – GAME 6 TUESDAY AT 9 P.M. ET ON CNBC – BLACKHAWKS LEAD 3-2
Jonathan Toews and the Blackhawks look to close out the Wild and advance to the Western Conference Finals tomorrow night at 9 p.m. ET on CNBC. Toews had the eventual game-winning goal 4:19 into the third period of Game 5 on Sunday night, as Chicago won 2-1 to regain the series lead following Wild victories in Games 3 and 4. The home team has won every game thus far in the series, and neither team has lost at home this postseason. The Wild are 5-0 at Xcel Energy Center, where they’ve outscored their opponents by a margin of 21-5. Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Eddie Olczyk (analyst) will call the action from Minneapolis.
