After an amazing three Games 7 in the first round on Wednesday night, we jump right into the NHL Stanley Cup 2nd Round with the Boston Bruins-Montreal Canadiens series.
With CBC a lame duck with the NHL, it won’t get B’s-Montreal in its traditional Hockey Night in Canada time slot this Saturday and NBC gets to air it as a lead-in to the Kentucky Derby pregame at 12:30 p.m. ET.
With the second round, NBC Sports Group gets full exclusivity of the games so there won’t be any local broadcasts. Most of the Conference Semifinal games will air on NBCSN with NBC getting weekend daytime games and CNBC will come in case of scheduling conflicts.
In Canada, CBC will air the Eastern Conference Semifinals. TSN will take the Western Conference.
