NBC Sports Group’s English Premier League Schedule for 11/9 & 11/10/2013

Trying to catch up on some housekeeping that I didn’t get to on Monday as I was out all day.

Let’s post what NBC Sports Group will air this weekend for the English Premier League. NBCSN carries one game on Saturday and a rare tripleheader on Sunday. Chelsea vs. West Brom will be its featured game on Saturday. NBC takes Norwich City vs. West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

Then on Sunday, NBCSN has Tottenham Hotspur vs. Newcastle then Sunderland-Arsenal and finally, Manchester vs. Arsenal. Lots of soccer again on NBCSN.

NBCUniversal’s Hispanic networks mun2 and Telemundo will also air EPL action this weekend as well.

Stamford, Conn. – November 4, 2013 – NBC Sports Group’s Premier League coverage this week is highlighted by five matches on NBC and NBCSN – including first-place Arsenal traveling to face Manchester United Sunday at 11:10 a.m. ET on NBCSN. With a victory against Manchester United, Arsenal would post their best ever start to a Premier League season with 28 points through 11 matches. In addition, Norwich City face West Ham United at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

NBCSN’s Saturday 10 a.m. ET match will feature Chelsea v. West Bromwich Albion. The four additional matches on Saturday in the 10 a.m. ET slot as well as the one additional match on Sunday in the 11:10 a.m. ET slot will be available on Premier League Extra Time, a bonus television package available to MVPDs at no extra cost for customers who receive NBCSN.

Telemundo will also telecast Manchester United-Arsenal on Sunday, and mun2 will telecast Chelsea-West Browmich Albion on Saturday (listed in table below).

NBC Sports Group’s lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White will call Major League Soccer playoffs this weekend. Steve Bower, English soccer commentator and one of the voices for BBC’s Match of the Day, will fill in for White. Bower joins former Arsenal defender and four-time league champion Lee Dixon to call Norwich City v. West Ham United on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Bower and Graeme Le Saux, the former Premier League star who played in 36 international matches for England, will call Manchester United v. Arsenal on Sunday at 11:10 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Rebecca Lowe hosts Premier League Live alongside former English footballer Robbie Mustoe and former Jamaican National Team player Robbie Earle.

All Premier League games will be streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices and tablets. Games airing on NBC Sports Network will be live streamed via “TV Everywhere,” the media industry’s effort to make quality content available to MVPD customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.

To date, AT&T U-verse®, Bright House Networks, Cablevision’s Optimum, Comcast’s Xfinity TV, Cox, DIRECTV, Mediacom, Suddenlink, and Time Warner Cable have opted to carry the additional Premier League matches via the Premier League Extra Time package, and AT&T U-verse, Cablevision’s Optimum, Charter, Comcast’s Xfinity TV, Cox, DIRECTV, DISH, Suddenlink and Verizon FiOS will make all Premier League games available through TV Everywhere. Additionally, over 100 NCTC partners have either signed-on to the Premier League Extra Time package or have opted-in via TV Everywhere, including Blue Ridge Communications, Buckeye CableSystem, CenturyLink Prism, and RCN. In some cases, the Premier League Extra Time package will be available in select markets.
