The very first flex of the 2013 NFL season comes in Week 7 and it has nothing to do with moving a game from Sunday afternoon into primetime. It all has to do with CBS’ schedule and it’s moving the Houston at Kansas City game from 1 p.m. ET to 4:25 p.m. due to “accommodate regional broadcast patterns” or in layman’s terms, Kansas City has a better record than predicted and the Texans-KC game is more attractive than it was when the schedule was originally revealed.
Here’s the official announcement from the National Football League.
OCTOBER 20 TEXANS-CHIEFS GAME MOVES TO 4:25 PM ET ON CBS
The October 20 Houston Texans-Kansas City Chiefs game will move from 1:00 PM ET to 4:25 PM ET on CBS, the NFL announced today. The move was made to accommodate regional broadcast patterns.
