Fox Sports Previews Week 2 of the 2013 NFL Season

NFL ON FOX WEEK 2 – RG3 & REDSKINS TRAVEL TO LAMBEAU FOR SHOWDOWN WITH AARON RODGERS & PACKERS; BRADSHAW & DUCK DYNASTY’S PHIL ROBERTSON LA TECH REUNION ON FOX NFL SUNDAY – The NFL on FOX begins Week 2 of the 2013 NFL season with singleheader coverage of seven games Sunday, Sept. 15 (1:00 PM ET) highlighted by Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins facing Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers from Lambeau Field.  Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Pam Oliver call the action. Also at 1:00 PM, Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs host Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys from Arrowhead Stadium.

Following its special pregame show from Times Square last week, FOX NFL SUNDAY, America’s most-watched NFL pregame show returns to the FOX Network Center in Los Angeles, at 12:00 PM ET.  Terry Bradshaw and co-host Curt Menefee preview the days NFL action with analysts Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson, insider Jay Glazer and rules analyst Mike Pereira. This week’s FOX NFL SUNDAY features a look at the paths of Bradshaw and Duck Dynasty patriarch, Phil Robertson. In the 60s, Robertson was the starting quarterback at Louisiana Tech for two seasons ahead of Bradshaw. Robertson walked away from his final year of eligibility to spend more time hunting and fishing, making Bradshaw the starter. Thursday night before FOX COLLEGE FOOTBALL’s presentation of Tulane at Louisiana Tech, both were honored in a pregame ceremony and got together to catch up on how their lives unfolded since leaving Ruston.

PETERSON JOINS FOX NFL KICKOFF FOX NFL KICKOFF is hosted by Joel Klatt, with Randy Moss, Eddie George, and Brendan Ayanbadejo. FOX Sports’ Laura Okmin interviews with Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

NFL ON FOX POSTS RECORD-SHATTERING WEEK 1 – The NFL on FOX Week 1 doubleheader averaged a 12.9/25 and 21.8 million viewers nationally, both record-highs for an NFL on FOX opening week, and +11% vs. last season’s Week 1 doubleheader (11.6/23, 19.4 million viewers). America’s Game of the Week national game (led by Packers at 49ers) averaged a 16.6/31 and 28.5 million viewers, the NFL on FOX’s best Week 1 national game rating ever.  It was +8% higher than the rating/average audience for last year’s national window (15.4/28, with 26.4 million viewers), and out-rated NBC’s Sunday Night Football Giants/Cowboys broadcast (15.0) by +11% to score the top-rated NFL telecast of the week.  It is the highest-rated and most-watched telecast of any kind since the Academy Awards in February.

FOX FOOTBALL DAILY LOOKS TO WEEK 2 OF NFL ACTION FOX Sports 1’s signature daily football show, FOX FOOTBALL DAILY, looks ahead to week 2 of the NFL with matchups, analysis and predictions from Curt Menefee, Scott Fujita, John Lynch, Tim Ryan and Brendon Ayanbadejo. Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush sits down one-on-one with Peter Schrager in a taped interview on Wednesday, Sept. 11. On Thursday, Sept. 12, Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll joins the panel via satellite. FOX NFL SUNDAY analysts Terry Bradshaw and Jimmy Johnson make their FOX FOOTBALL DAILY studio debut on Friday, Sept. 13. FOX FOOTBALL DAILY airs Monday through Friday at 6:00 PM ET on FOX Sports 1.

NFL MVP PETERSON’S 1 ON 1 ON FOX SUNDAY AFTER NFL The reigning NFL MVP Adrian Peterson sits down with FOX NFL SUNDAY host Curt Menefee for the newest FOX SPORTS 1 ON 1 – ADRIAN PETERSON airing on FOX after the local NFL on FOX coverage Sunday, Sept. 15. Hosted by Charissa Thompson, Peterson and Menefee discuss topics such as recovering from his ACL injury, getting older, coming up nine yards short of the all-time rushing record and how football will be different in 20 years. The third episode of FOX SPORTS 1 ON 1 features the National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell with FOX Sports’ John Lynch on FOX Sports 1 on Tuesday, Sept. 24 (8:00 PM ET).
