The Crossover with Michelle Beadle latches onto the NHL Stanley Cup Final tonight with two, count ’em, two editions. Leading up to NHL Live at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports Network, The Crossover will air a special one-hour edition at 6 p.m. ET featuring various NHL-themed segments.
Then following Stanley Cup Final Game 1 and NHL Live at approximately 11 p.m. ET, there will be a live postgame edition of The Crossover as Michelle will have NHL on NBC analysts Jeremy Roenick and Anson Carter, and Dave Hanson of the Hanson Brothers from “Slap Shot” as well as other NHL-themed segments.

Live, Special “NHL Edition” Following Game 3 at 11 p.m. ET
Extended One-Hour Show at 6 p.m. ETNEW YORK – June 16, 2013 – The Crossover, NBC Sports Network’s daily sports and entertainment show hosted by Michelle Beadle, will embrace the 2013 Stanley Cup Final on Monday with a one-hour extended episode prior to Stanley Cup Final Game 3 at 6 p.m. ET, and a live, special NHL edition at 11 p.m. ET (or upon conclusion of the game). Both programs will originate from The Crossover’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza studio in New York City.
The Crossover’s live NHL edition will follow post-game coverage of Game 3 Monday night on NBC Sports Network and will include:
- NHL studio analyst Jeremy Roenick from Boston, the site of Game 3;
- NHL studio analyst Anson Carter in-studio with Beadle at 30 Rock in New York
- Former NHL player Dave Hanson, who played Jack Hanson in the film Slap Shot, in-studio with Beadle in New York;
- A recent visit Beadle made to the flagship NHL Store in New York; and
- Some of Beadle’s favorite playoff moments.
“I’m pumped to be a part of the action,” said Beadle. “I am keeping my fingers crossed for an overtime-free, fantastic game.”
On Monday at 6 p.m. ET, an extended one-hour episode of The Crossover will air. Beadle will welcome NHL studio analyst Roenick via satellite from Boston, and Will Leitch, Sports On Earth writer and Deadspin founder, to the studio in New York.
The one-hour edition will focus on the Stanley Cup Final and air “I Was There,” a segment that tells the story of the instant-classic, triple-overtime Stanley Cup Final Game 1 from the fans’ perspective.
Following the special, live post-game edition of The Crossover, Liam McHugh will host Stanley Cup Rewind – Best Games, with a look back at the best moments of the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
