Inside Mad Men: Season 6, Episode 9, “The Better Half”

Ok, this was a wild episode. Peggy has difficulties with Abe, but we find out Ted has feelings for her. We get a look at the thinner Betty Francis. Pete starts to look for a new job with a reappearance by Duck Phillips. Roger has a day with his four year old grandson, only to find that his daughter has banned him from further visits without supervision. Don goes to visit his son Bobby’s camp to sing “Father Abraham” and gets back into Betty’s bed. Then she gives him some profound information about loving him, and then out-Donald’s Donald Draper. Megan gets hit on by her co-star.

Joan and Bob Benson head to the beach. And Peggy accidentally stabs Abe and he breaks up with her. Megan gives Don an ultimatum. Roger tries to get back into Joan’s life and lastly, Peggy hopes to get a sign from Ted only to get shot down.

Let’s get some background on tonight’s episode from Matt Weiner, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Kevin Rahm, Elisabeth Moss and Jon Hamm.
