DonWalker of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel says after being given a number of extensions, the Minnesota Vikings finally sold out their Wild Card playoff game to prevent a local TV blackout today.
Michael Zuidema of the Grand Rapids Press writes that the Big Ten Network broadcasters are impressed by Michigan’s start.
Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune says the NHL Winter Classic rated the highest in the Windy City.
Barry Horn of the Dallas Morning News suggests that the NHL Winter Classic come to the Cotton Bowl, which won’t be busy on New Year’s Day from now on.
