Some NFL Overnight Ratings For Week 3

We have some tweets from both CBS and NBC in regards to their overnight ratings for NFL Week 3.

For CBS, it saw its first ratings increase for the 2012 season as the late national window featuring Houston at Denver and Pittsburgh at Oakland brought in a 14.9/27, up significantly from the same period a year ago and CBS also saw an increase for its 1 p.m. ET regional window.

For the first time this season, the 4:25 p.m. window outrated NBC’s Sunday Night Football. NBC saw a 14.3 which is up 8% from the Week 3 game a year ago.

NBC says the New England-Baltimore game last night is the 2nd highest-rated Week 3 Sunday Night Football game ever and 2nd best Week 3 primetime game on any network dating back to 1997.

Naturally, the top two local markets for the night were Baltimore and Boston. Providence, the Patriots’ secondary market was third.

And that will do it.
