Co-host Terry Bradshaw urges Commissioner Goodell and the NFL to publicly present evidence that led to New Orleans Saints sanctions: “I’m going to look at this from a fan’s perspective. As a Saints fan, I’m thinking – Mr. Commissioner, you just took my coach away, you took my general manager away and suspended my players. You’re telling me you have all this evidence to support these suspensions and I’m telling you I’d like to see all the evidence. Show every bit of it to all the fans so we can trust the NFL when they say ‘you are guilty.’ Then I can look at it and say ‘you were right and I support you in what you’ve done to my New Orleans Saints.’ I’d like to see this thing go to court and show me that evidence so we can understand how you could do this to Sean Payton, the New Orleans Saints and that great town.”

FOX NFL SUNDAY insider Jay Glazer reports on a letter written by the NFLPA to the NFL last week asking for locked out officials to return. The letter sites player safety.

Analyst Jimmy Johnson thinks the Dallas Cowboys will go deep into the playoffs this season: “For 15 years, Cowboy fans have been saying ‘this is our year’ and in that time they’ve only had one playoff win. They’ve been disappointed. Cowboys’ defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has got two new cornerbacks that can take away the wide receivers. That defense is going to be outstanding. The Cowboys are going deep into the playoffs.”

Analyst Michael Strahan on whether fans should worry about the Giants after Wednesday night’s loss to the Cowboys: “The Giants always start out slow. Last year they were 7-7, finished 9-7 and won the Super Bowl. You just hope they don’t get so far down in the division that the Cowboys and Eagles build up a lead that the Giants can’t overcome.”

Co-host Terry Bradshaw had some advice for Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz: “Victor, no more commercials. He caught more passes in that commercial than he did in the game on Wednesday.”

Analyst Michael Strahan on how Bountygate, the team and personnel suspensions will impact the Saints: “There hasn’t been a team or fan base in the league that has had to overcome more than the New Orleans Saints. If you are a player on that team with your head coach watching from home and you don’t understand or agree with him not being there, it makes you even more upset and more focused. Mickey Loomis and Sean Payton have done a great job doing something Bill Belichick has set up in New England – they build their roster to withstand turmoil and also to sustain that ‘us against them’ mentality. It’s led both of those teams to the Super Bowl.”
Analyst Howie Long added: “The choice of Aaron Kromer to start the season as interim head coach is a good one. He’s qualified and it also allows offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael to focus on the engine that drives the train for the Saints: their offense. The wild card this season for the Saints is Drew Brees. He’s the closest thing to an assistant coach at the quarterback position that we have in the league.”

At times he grips it as well as ever and then there are times when he doesn’t know if he’s going to have enough pressure in his hand. It would drive me crazy as a quarterback.”
