NBC Sports Network Back with Game 2 of NHL Western Conference Final Tonight

NBC Sports’ continuing coverage of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs rolls on with Game 2 of the Western Conference Final tonight in the Valley of the Sun. Dave Strader, Darren Pang and Brian Engblom will be in Glendale for the call of the game between the Los Angeles Kings and Phoenix Coyotes. The Kings have a six playoff game winning streak on the road and they would like to extend that tonight. NBC Sports Network hits the air with NHL Live at 8 p.m. ET with the game starting after 9 p.m. Let’s look at what NBC is saying about tonight’s coverage. It’s posted all below in black and white.

WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS CONTINUE TONIGHT WITH GAME 2

NEW YORK –- May 15, 2012 –- Day 35 — The NBC Sports Group’s exclusive Conference Finals coverage of the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs continues tonight in Phoenix with the Western Conference’s Game 2 between the #3 Coyotes and #8 Los Angeles Kings at 9 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET with NHL Live.The team of Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (analyst) and Darren Pang (‘Inside-the-glass’ analyst) will call the action in the Kings-Coyotes series. Continuing through the Stanley Cup Final, all remaining Stanley Cup Playoff games will air exclusively on NBC and NBC Sports Network. PRE-GAME & POST-GAME COVERAGE

NHL Live, NBC Sports Network’s NHL pre-game show, will air every game night a half hour before the game of the night begins. NHL Post-Game will air a 30-minute program following the conclusion of game coverage every night of the playoffs.

GAMES TELEVISED SO FAR

For the first time in the 95-year history of the NHL, every Stanley Cup Playoff game will be televised nationally. The NBC Sports Group will provide unprecedented access to the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs in April, May and June, televising as many as 105 playoff games and possibly more than 262.5 hours of programming. Games will be presented on NBC, the NBC Sports Network, the NHL Network, and NBCUniversal’s business channel CNBC in primetime.
