Golf Channel will have three tournaments to air this weekend including the PGA Tour’s Deutsche Bank Championship in Norton, MA which is about 40 minutes away from me. It’ll be the second leg of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup. And there will be a second PGA Tour stop as well. We have everything you need to know below.

- NBC Sports Group Takes Reigns for PGA TOUR Playoffs – NBC Sports Group will televise more than 55 hours of the final three PGA TOUR Playoff events – Deutsche Bank Championship, BMW Championship and the TOUR Championship. All NBC Sports golf coverage has been rebranded “Golf Channel on NBC.”
- Four Rounds of Coverage – In addition to exclusive Friday and Saturday coverage this week, Golf Channel will air early coverage on Sunday and Monday leading into “Golf Channel on NBC” coverage. Golf Channel also will re-air NBC’s coverage in prime time, Sunday at 9:30 p.m. ET and Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
- Trackman Returns to Golf Channel coverage– Trackman, a golf radar technology that measures spin rate, club speed, smash factor, carry and launch will be featured during the opening rounds of the Deutsche Bank Championship as a part of Golf Channel’s new “AT&T Tech Center” feature.
- Deutsche Bank Championship Features Field of 99 – Nearly half the field of 99 players competing this week is in danger of being eliminated from Playoff contention. The top 70 will advance to the BMW Championship in two weeks.

- Arnold Palmer Honorary Chairman: Pennsylvania native Arnold Palmer will serve as honorary chairman of the tournament. Palmer is scheduled to join the broadcast team during tournament coverage.
- Look Who’s In the Truck – J.J. Killeen. Following his round on Friday, J.J. Killeen will visit Golf Channel’s production trucks and will direct the live tournament broadcast for a few segments. Killeen will direct camera shots and will oversee camera operators throughout the course during the segments.
- Featured Groupings: Golf Channel’s featured grouping during Thursday’s tournament coverage will be John Daly, J.J. Killeen and Steve Wheatcroft. Friday’s featured grouping will be Rocco Mediate, Colt Knost and James Nitties.
