On Sunday, “MLB on TBS” will be at the park formerly known as New Comiskey for the Battle of the Sox, Red vs. White, Boston vs. Chicago. Ernie Johnson Jr. will call this game and he’ll be paired with Hall of Fame reliever Dennis Eckersley. The game will start at 2 p.m. ET on the network formerly known as The Superstation. “Sunday MLB on TBS” continues on July 31, MLB’s trade deadline day, with an American League match-up featuring Paul Konerkoand the Chicago White Sox hostingDavid Ortiz and the Boston Red Sox at 2 p.m. (ET) at U.S. Cellular Field. Andrew Miller (4-1) is scheduled to start for the Red Sox against the White Sox probable starter Mark Buehrle (8-5). Play-by-play announcer Ernie Johnson will be joined by analyst Dennis Eckersley in the broadcast booth.
“Sunday MLB on TBS” includes match-ups on TBS every Sunday afternoon throughout the regular season. Beginning in October TBS will once again provide exclusive coverage of the four Division Series and the National League Championship Series (NLCS).
TBS has served as the exclusive home of Major League Baseball’s Division Series (DS) and one League Championship Series (LCS) since 2007, has broadcasted MLB games for more than 30 years and was home of the Atlanta Braves from 1977-2007.
