Octogenarian Jack McKeon is €the second-oldest major-league manager of all-time, serving as interim manager of the Florida Marlins. Tonight on the <strongCBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY (6:30PM, ET), correspondent Steve Hartman talks to McKeon about his 30 years on the field, how his faith brought him back to the game and what inspires him to keep going.
Since he took over the Marlins last month, McKeon not only ended the team’s 11-game losing streak, but they won nine of the past 11 games.
