TBS Heads To Philly For Braves-Phils

TBS’ Sunday Afternoon Baseball game pits the Atlanta Braves at the Philadelphia Phillies. Kind of an old school matchup bringing the Braves back to TBS for a week.

“Sunday MLB on TBS” heads into the All-Star break on July 10 when National League All-Star catcher Brian McCann and the Atlanta Braves travel to Citizens Bank Park to take on Ryan Howard and the Philadelphia Phillies at 1:30 p.m. (ET)Derek Lowe (5-6) is scheduled to start for the Braves against the Phillies’ probable starting pitcher and National League All-Star Cole Hamels (10-4).  Play-by-play announcer Ernie Johnson will be joined by analyst John Smoltz in the broadcast booth.

“Sunday MLB on TBS” includes match-ups on TBS every Sunday afternoon throughout the regular season.  Beginning in October TBS will once again provide exclusive coverage of the four Division Series and the National League Championship Series (NLCS).

TBS has served as the exclusive home of Major League Baseball’s Division Series (DS) and one League Championship Series (LCS) since 2007, has broadcasted MLB games for more than 30 years and was home of the Atlanta Braves from 1977-2007.
