BREAKING NEWS: Gus Johnson Out At CBS

UPDATE, 8:35 p.m.: Diane Pucin of the Los Angeles Times reports that Gus is in talks with Fox to possibly call college football and basketball.

Fans don’t have too far to get their Gus fix. He’ll be on the Showtime pay per view call of the Manny Pacquaio-Sugar Shane Mosley fight this Saturday night.

UPDATE, 9:25 p.m.: I make an exception of my personal ban of the New York Daily News’ Bob Raissman to make this link. He says reports of Gus leaving CBS are in fact, premature.

That’s interesting.

UPDATE, 9:40 p.m.: Postgame Presser sums up many fans’ feelings if CBS does indeed cut Gus. He is the NCAA Tournament to fans.
