I was going to do a full update, but there’s something about this episode which really turned me off and that was Rovilson & Marc’s staging being lost then jumping on the mat to win the leg. This is reality TV, not staged, scripted TV. I was so angry watching that.
Plus, there was no drama to this leg. You pretty much knew that Sophie & Aurelia would be eliminated from the race after starting 7 hours after the 7th place team.
And Terri’s behavior turned me off as well.
So there won’t be a full recap. I’m hoping the next episode will be much better.
Our order of finish:
1. Rovilson & Marc – The First Class Jerks have finished first for the third consecutive leg.
2. Adrian & Collin – This team is impressing me.
3. Paula & Natasha – This is a surprisingly strong team.
4. Ann & Diane – Tired of finishing 3rd, they go down a notch.
5. Daichi & Sawaka – Always consistently in the middle of the pack.
6. Vanessa & Pamela – Still going strong.
7. Terri & Henry – She’s got to stop whining. He can’t carry the team by himself.
8. Sophie & Aurelia – Got the mercy elimination at a roadblock.
