Univision Draws Under 5 Million for USA-Ghana

While ESPN drew the biggest audience for the USA-Ghana game on Monday, Univision drew a very decent audience of 4.8 million viewers. Combining ESPN’s total audience for the game (11.093 million) and Univision’s audience, you get a total of just under 16 million viewers and that beats every single NHL Stanley Cup Playoff game this year, all of NASCAR Sprint Cup races to date, all of the NBA Playoffs except for the Finals, several MLB games and regular season college basketball games.

Univision beat ESPN in Dallas, Los Angeles and Miami.

Overall, Univision is still ahead of 2010’s pace by 48% which is quite impressive.

Here’s the Univision press release.
