Bengals LB Dhani Jones, Grammy Award-Winning Musician John Legend & Actor Kevin James Featured on the Latest Edition of ‘The Rich Eisen Podcast’ Thursday, June 30 at 10:30 PM ET on NFL Network & NFL.com/iTunes
The latest edition of ‘The Rich Eisen Podcast’ on NFL Network airs on Thursday, June 30 at 10:30 PM ET and is available on NFL.com and iTunes.

This week, Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Dhani Jones appears in-studio to discuss the possibility of returning to Cincinnati, the future for quarterback Carson Palmer, and his new book The Sportsman: Unexpected Lessons from an Around-the-World Sports Odyssey.

Also featured on this week’s edition are Grammy Award-winning musician John Legend, and the star of the upcoming movie Zookeeper, actor Kevin James.

The podcast will be available for download on NFL.com and iTunes on Thursday immediately following the network debut.

Last week, former Super Bowl-winning defensive end for the New York Giants and current studio analyst on Fox NFL Sunday Michael Strahan joined Eisen and NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp in-studio for a lively discussion. The two former players re-lived their weekly segment on NFL Network which pitted one against the other on their respective Team Cams, as well as discussed one of Strahan’s former teammates, Tiki Barber.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew also appeared as an in-studio guest and talked about the motivation that comes from being drafted in the second round, being named No. 30 on NFL Network’s The Top 100: Players of 2011 and what the Jaguars need to do to win the AFC South.

Rounding out the guest list was actor Jason Sudeikis, star of the upcoming movie Horrible Bosses and cast member of Saturday Night Live.

Quotes from last week’s edition of ‘The Rich Eisen Podcast’:

– “I didn’t think much of him when he did play. I mean that’s the whole point. He was a fumbler all the way through his life, and then all of a sudden, somebody taught him how to hold the ball up high. And then he [left the Giants] and said, Eli [Manning] can’t lead them and they’ll never win a championship.” – Warren Sapp on former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber

– “If it comes to playing football, he can play.” – Michael Strahan on former teammate, Tiki Barber

– “I was happy that I made the list. But, there’s a part of me saying it’s not enough. I need more, I want more.” – Maurice Jones-Drew on being ranked No. 30 on The Top 100: Players of 2011

Orlando Predators Host Pittsburgh Power in Crucial American Conference Game on “Arena Football Friday” July 1 at 8:00 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Power (8-6) travel to face the Orlando Predators (8-6) in a crucial American Conference matchup rife with playoff implications on NFL Network’s “Arena Football Friday” on Friday, July 1 at 8:00 PM ET. Fran Charles provides the play-by-play while Steve Wyche serves as game analyst. Anthony Herron provides reports from the sidelines of the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

In their inaugural season, the Power currently sit in a tie with the Cleveland Gladiators atop the East Division of the American Conference. Meanwhile, the Predators are on the edge of a Wild Card berth with an 8-6 record. Four teams from each conference qualify for the playoffs – the two division winners and two Wild Card teams.

The Power enter the game coming off a narrow victory over the Milwaukee Mustangs, a 39-38 win thanks to a late touchdown reception by wide receiver Lonnell Dewalt. On the other side of the ball, the Predators look to halt a three-game losing streak. This game is the first and long meeting of the season between the two teams.

Pittsburgh is making its second of three appearances on NFL Network this season. The Power kicked off the “Arena Football Friday” schedule with a 58-52 loss at home to the Philadelphia Soul on March 11. Orlando is making its fourth and final NFL Network appearance this season. In their previous three nationally televised games, the Predators are 1-2, with a win against the Tampa Bay Storm (63-61, May 6) and losses to the Storm (46-44, June 17) and the Jacksonville Sharks (76-55, April 30).

Last week on “Arena Football Friday,” the Utah Blaze defeated the Kansas City Command 61-60 at EnergySolutions Arena to remain in contention for the final playoff spot in the National Conference. Utah quarterback Tommy Grady threw eight touchdown passes to increase his season total to 103. Kansas City quarterback Steve Wasil threw seven touchdown passes in the loss.
