Power to the People! NBC Will Air Friday's USA Men's Hockey Game LIVE IN ALL TIME ZONES

NBC has apparently heard the complaints about the tape delays and has decided that Friday’s men’s hockey semifinal between Team USA and either the Czech Republic or Finland will be live in all time zones!! This means the West Coast won’t have to wait three hours to watch the game on TV. Perhaps NBC will do the same thing if the US advances to the Gold Medal game on Sunday, but first things first. This is a big step.

FRIDAY’S USA SEMIFINAL MEN’S HOCKEY GAME LIVE IN ALL TIME ZONES; 3 P.M. ET/12 NOON PT ON NBC

VANCOUVER - February 24, 2010 - The USA semifinal men's hockey game against the winner of the Czech Republic vs. Finland will be broadcast live in all time zones on NBC this Friday at 3 p.m. ET.

USA vs. Czech Republic/Finland winner:
3 p.m. ET, 2 p.m. CT, 1 p.m. MT, 12 noon PT

NOTE: The Czech Republic vs. Finland is live today on CNBC starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT

It’s a good move. The game will also be available on NBCOlympics.com.

In honor of this decision, I give you John Lennon’s Power To the People.

More coming up.
