I already posted the schedule of games for NFL Wild Card Weekend, twice in fact, but never a bad time to post NBC’s schedule again. This is the official announcement from NBC Sports. It’s pretty safe to assume that the Sunday Night Football crew of Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and Andrea Kremer will head to Indianapolis for the Jets-Colts game.
It’s my guess that NBC’s Notre Dame Football crew of Tom Hammond, Mike Mayock and Alex Flanagan would work the New Orleans Saints at NFC West Division winner. We all know the disastrous results of having Tom teamed with Joe Gibbs and Joe Theismann last year. Let’s hope we don’t get a repeat of that. We’ll know soon enough.
We’ll get the plans for Football Night in America and announcing assignments either on Monday or Tuesday.
