Vince Cellini Rejoins Turner Sports As NBA TV & NCAA.com Host

This in from our friends at Turner Sports, former CNN Sports Tonight anchor Vince Cellini returns to Turner Sports to be a multiplatform host. For traditional media, he’ll join NBA TV and host NBA GameTime. For new media, Vince will host a college football show for NCAA.com as well as continuing as a host for NASCAR.com.

Vince joined Turner back in 1989 and became one of CNN Sports Tonight’s most popular anchors. He was given his own show on CNN, Calling All Sports in 1994 where he was notorious for cutting off callers and refusing to talk about certain subjects (“It’s my show”).

From 2003 through 2009, Vince was a host on Golf Channel including being co-hosting “Big Break” with the lovely Stephanie Sparks. Since leaving Golf Channel, Vince has been doing various hosting stints for Turner and now is back full-time. Here’s the press release from Turner Sports announcing Cellini’s return.
