Sports Media Weekly Podcast No. 32

Time for another edition of the Sports Media Weekly Podcast.

In the first segment, Keith Thibault of Sports Media Journal and I talk about the NFL Draft, coverage and the ratings, plus the move to a primetime event. Then we talk about CBS/Turner gaining the rights for the NCAA Tournament. We discuss the Sports Emmy Awards which took place earlier this week. Other subjects include the excellent ratings for the NHL on Versus and Milwaukee Brewers radio voice Bob Uecker undergoing heart surgery.

Our guest this week is Kyle Montgomery, host of The Jump on NBA.com and NBA TV. We ask him about his duties at NBA.com/NBA TV. Talk about The Jump. And we also discuss the NBA Playoffs plus what websites he visits every week.

Overall, another great podcast. You can download it at iTunes or you can listen to the podcast right here.
